Miracles of the marsh
It's four in the morning and I was just out on the stoop for a breath of fresh air. I heard what sounded like an airplane overhead. It occurred to me to check it out on Flightradar24 when I got back inside. But before I got around to that, it struck me that the airplane noises kind of went on and on and on... the only way that could happen is if something was flying around in circles, which is not out of the question. We're a mere 30 miles or so (as the Blackhawk flies)from the Meaford tank range, so it's not unusual to see stuff in the air that doesn't show up on Flightradar24.
As I was pondering all that I realized what I was actually hearing was the frog chorus in the marsh across the road. False alarm, folks... stand down!
