About Mafia Don's diesel deal with Bad Vlad

After four years of threatening death and destruction against allies who might dare breach his arbitrary sanctions on Russian oil, Donny J done shredded his own sanctions and announced he'd contracted to swap a few million tons of Russian diesel for a few billions of USD.

Not hard to see where that came from. We're three weeks from mid-terms, and Team Trump is starting to panic. The war he promised to end in 24 hours is now chewing the legs off the global economy. If that's not bad enough, the new war his pal, the Greatest Leader Since Moses, conned him into, promises to destroy what's left of American credibility in the Middle East - in fact, that's pretty much a done deal at this point.

All of which leaves the NATO vassals up the proverbial stump. Since it was Trump's bullying that coerced them into ramping up their military spending, they assumed Uncle Sam would reward them by leading the charge to dislodge the evil dictator in the Kremlin. Instead, Trump announces a multi-billion $$ deal for Putin's diesel!

I've seen some analyses by industry insiders who estimate these purchases might, in a best case scenario, keep US diesel prices tamped down till the midterms. Unfortunately for Mafia Don, he's got 101 crises cooking beyond the price of diesel, so even if this latest brazen display of market manipulation  were briefly effective, he is doomed. Trump's next two years will be 100% devoted to fighting impeachment, so fighting for or against anything else is a non-starter. 

Donny J has had a spectacular run, but it's winding down...

A really big shoe

Remember when Ed Sullivan always had "a really big show," but it sounded like he said "shoe" instead of "show?"

These days, the really big shoe is of course Impeachment Palooza. Seems to me this is brought to you by the same folks who have been renovating the historical record on American war crimes and war criminals. Henry "peace is at hand" Kissinger is a cuddly elder statesman now, still wanted as a war criminal in many jurisdictions, but that's just the result of Putinist propaganda.

America's decade and a half unprovoked brutalisation of Viet Nam was just some well-meaning folks whose good intentions were undermined by the commies in Russia and China.

Ditto the destruction of Iraq, Libya, Somalia, and various others. There's always some foreign ne're-do-wells messing up Uncle Sam's good intentions. And thank God the truth-seekers have been setting the record straight on the altruists at the CIA and the FBI, who have for years been stymied by a pinko press corps riddled with commie infiltrators.

Impeachment Palooza reveals that, at least before the racist misogynist xenophobic narcissistic retard Trump stole the Oval Office from Hillary, America NEVER asked for anything in return when doling out foreign aid or Javelin anti-tank missiles...


So make sure you watch the show! If nothing else, it'll take your mind off the tawdry goings on elsewhere in the world.

Like the US sponsored coup that just went down in Bolivia.

Like the US led sanctions that are designed to starve the children of Iran until the Ayatollahs cry "Uncle Sam."

Like the new US military bases sprouting up in the Syrian oilfields a month after American troops supposedly left the country they were illegally occupying.

Like America's trillion dollar commitment to freshening up its nuclear arsenal.

I could go on, but you probably get the drift...


Or at least you would, it you weren't too busy watching the big shoe.

American Empire - unprincipled thuggery since 1776

There's a whole lotta hand-wringing going on in polite circles these days about Trump's "thuggish" strong-arming of the recently elected Ukraine PM.

I don't get it. Near as I can tell, thuggish strong-arming has pretty much been Uncle Sam's modus operandi for the past 250 years, at least when he's trying to make nice. If thuggish strong-arming doesn't do the trick, there's plenty of other options on the table: economic warfare, nuclear weapons, the arming of genocidal terror groups, shock and awe...

Let's not kid ourselves. American thuggery had a rich and murderous history long before Mafia Don happened along. Let's not forget the "Ledeen Doctrine;" every ten years or so America has to throw some crappy little country against the wall just to show the rest of the world we mean business.

It doesn't get any more thuggish than that!

So take a pill, America. Your democratically elected leader is just carrying on a time-honoured tradition.
