Why? What is it our official government propaganda mouthpiece is trying to distract us from? What are a few issues that concern Canadians far more than the hypothetical scenario above. Hmm... how about the fact our kids can't afford homes. How about new grads struggle to find jobs, let alone start careers. Number one among pretty much all Canadians other than talking heads on CBC is the rapidly rising cost of absolutely everything. Most folks are way more interested in reducing the number of homeless in their streets than they are in what might happen in case "separatist's" win an election in Alberta twenty years down the road.
Right now I've got Cross Country Checkup in the background, and it's been one expert after another solemnly warning of the grave threat separation poses to everybody except the gay-hating racists who have been secretly promoting it, in collusion with US MAGA forces, not surprisingly. The tone is even more solemn due to the disaster at the CAF base.
News sites world wide have been reporting all day long, the explosion happened when a live-fire training exercise went awry and hit a nearby natural gas pipeline pumping station. Still waiting for Carney's PR department to verify.
