The move comes after CBC revealed that Black African students seeking to flee the war had been assaulted with micro-aggressions by Ukrainian border guards.
Obina Ojigbo, of York University's Centre for Social Justice, said that their resident training team would hitch a ride with the next Canadian Forces flight to Poland, and make their way to the border from there.
"It is completely unacceptable that Black Africans are treated as second-class citizens in Ukraine just because they are Black. White supremacy has no place in Ukraine," she said.

CBC has just announced that both Justin and Chrystia called Zelensky and enquired about the scandal. He reassured them that the alleged racist border guards are not Ukrainian, but are in fact Russians in Ukrainian uniforms. The training mission has been halted pending further clarification.
