Mark Carney proves he was just joking around with that whacky Davos speech

What a jokester this guy is! What a kidder! He had the entire world agog at his affrontery, his bold defiance of Empire! Yup, we're all sick and tired of a world where the Big Dogs do whatever they want, regardless of the norms they impose on the rest of the world! Mere weeks after that anti-Empire shot heard 'round the world captivated the media, the US Empire, together with its trusty vassal Israel, launched an unprovoked war against Iran. According to the Nuremberg war crimes tribunal, that's the crime of crimes where war crimes are concerned. There is no question that this illegal invasion of Iran is the most egregious example conceivable of a Big Dog shitting all over international law to impose its will on weaker nations. So what has been the response of the hero who delivered that sharp rebuke of US impunity at Davos? Why, every public utterance on the matter has been in full support of US and Israeli war crimes! What a phoney!

Homeland Security keeping America safe from... dead Nazi war criminals?

Here's an interesting story from Reuters about the search for the diaries of Nazi war criminal Alfred Rosenberg.

Rosenberg was one of the most odious Nazi ideologues, who got considerably less than he deserved when he was sentenced to death by hanging at the Nuremberg trials.

What caught my eye was the first sentence in the penultimate paragraph; "...an agent from Homeland Security Investigations tried to find the missing diary pages..."

I thought it was the mandate of Homeland Security to keep America safe from terror?

Talk about mission creep!
