Toronto Star exposes BDS as Iran plot!

In case you were wondering, the Boycott, Divest, and Sanction movement is a plot cooked up in Iran. That's according to the Toronto Star's Rosie DiManno in her page 2 column today.

Those damned Persians!

Yup, it's all "anti-Semitism, don't kid yourself," Rosie assures us. Rosie came to this conclusion after attending a Al Quds Day rally in Toronto without her cigarettes, a fact her editors somehow find relevant to the story. Or maybe she no longer has anyone edit her idiocy. After all, it's been tough times in the news biz. Tossing the editors over the side was just another cost-saving necessity.

That's why the Canadian media bigs went cap-in-hand to the government to wrangle a $600 million subsidy from taxpayers to subsidize their failing news titles, so they can continue to publish anti-Palestinian hate-speech like DiManno's effort today.

DiManno obviously has high regard for "that sliver of democracy in the Middle East." Good for her, but I think most diaspora Jews under thirty are embarrassed by it. Google we know where every bullet landed and you'll see why. There's nothing praiseworthy about IDF snipers killing unarmed Palestinians.

Nothing.

DiManno gets one thing right; there is no two-state solution. It may take five more years or fifty, but eventually a one-state solution will prevail. That will be a state in which every resident is a citizen, and every citizen has an equal vote. At that point, Israel will be more than a Jewish state; it will be an authentic democracy.

Killing Muslims; the right way and the wrong way

What's wrong with those white racists who go freelance in the killing of Muslims?

The civilized world is aghast this morning at the carnage in Christchurch. Another freelance racist goes on a spree...

What's the matter with these people? Don't they know there are many socially approved ways of killing Muslims?

There's no doubt that the racist(s) responsible for the latest outrage would have found a welcome in the armed services of many Western nations. The US military, for example, has been killing Muslims on an industrial scale for decades. Where is the outrage?

Bombing wedding parties in Muslim lands is a time honoured strategy of the US military, to the point where many of these attacks even have their own Wikipedia entries.

Indeed, the US military affords the aspiring Muslim-killer many legitimate opportunities.

The racist skill-set would be more than welcome in the IDF as well. If dropping bombs seems a little impersonal, the most moral army in the world provides opportunities for snipers to kill Muslim children while looking them in the eye through a telescope.

Even here in Canada, where diversity is our strength, the wannabe Muslim-killers need not go rogue. Almost a thousand brave Canadians got medals for bombing Muslims in Libya back in 2011.


Therefore, it is inexcusable for these racists to embark on their independent killing sprees. Western countries provide many socially acceptable avenues for killing Muslims.

The manifold blessings of a shitty education

Does anybody else wonder why the world's only super-power has a Third-World-calibre education system?

This is not by accident; this is what America's ruling class aims for in educational outcomes. After all, if American schools were serious about graduating informed citizens with real critical thinking skills, the status quo would be toppled into the dustbin of history within a generation.

Good-bye to billion dollar per year hedge fund bosses.

Farewell to trillion dollar wars that do nothing but create more enemies and enrich the plutocrats.

Adios to politicians who represent the patricians and piss all over the working folks.

The Citizens United ruling would have been met with rioting in the streets if America had an informed working class.

Mitt Romney would have been tarred, feathered, and laughed out of town when he made that utterly obnoxious comment about corporations being people too.

Hello to a livable minimum wage.

Hello to universal health care.

Hello to the end of homelessness...

Clearly, these aren't outcomes that America's ruling class would want to encourage.

Hence the never-ending downward spiral in America's educational attainments.

After all, it's the promotion of ignorance on a systemic scale that makes stories like this possible.

Some well-meaning high-school teacher in Augusta County down in Virginia had her World Geography class copy out some Arabic calligraphy. Some well-meaning parent operating on the "see something say something" principle saw Muslim indoctrination and said so on her Facebook page...

Well, the outpouring of outrage was such that the school district shut down because of the deluge of incoming hate mail.

Seriously folks, is this what America has become?

Three Jews murdered in dispute over parking space

If we saw such a headline, we would automatically assume "anti-Semitism." (Unless of course it was three reform Jews murdered by an Ultra-Orthodox Jew, in which case we'd only be surprised that an Ultra-Orthodox Jew needed a parking space.)

But when three Muslims are murdered, we indulge a debate over whether this was a case of "Islamophobia," or whether it was about a parking space.

Meanwhile, Obama is angling for a little more leeway for putting at least a few special ops boots on Muslim ground in the interest of fighting terrorism in its latest mutation as Islamic State.

They hate us for our parking spaces, and if we don't deal with them in Iraq and Syria today, we'll be fighting them off in shopping mall parking lots from Seattle to Sarasota and from Boston to Santa Barbara tomorrow...
