Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry? How retarded would their children be?

I’m guessing not nearly as retarded as this CBC story. Katy seems a nice enough gal in her own right, although she’s gullible enough to lend her name to various Clinton campaigns over the years. That’s probably due more to the stupidity of her management team than her own stupidity. What I find amusing about the story is that the CBC quotes half a dozen communication consultants, PR experts, and reputation managers to parse out the meaning of this tryst. Oddy enough, no actual political consultants are consulted. Hell, I can explain Justin-Perry without consulting any consultants at all. At 40, Katy is goin’ over the hill in a Coup d’Ville, to paraphrase America’s greatest poet. At 53, Fluffy is too old to use it, too young to lose it, and the clock waits so patiently on their forthcoming duet. That’s the kind of power couple the CBC can sink its teeth into!

Revelations

This week Canada revealed it intends to recognize the Palestinian state. This revelation contains many caveats. In the first place, such a state can only happen in the context of the famous “two-state solution.” Further, the Palestinian Authority must make the reforms dictated by Israel’s allies. The fact that the PA has near-zero cred among Palestinians is irrelevant. The fact that Israel and its allies are trying to breathe fresh life into the totally corrupted and compromised PA is intended to take your eye off the hypocrisy of our imposing a government on Palestinians. Apparently some people are not worthy of democracy. The two-state solution is, as any reasonable analyst would have concluded at least a quarter century ago, deader than Yitzhak Rabin. You’ll remember him as the Israeli Prime Minister who signed the Oslo Accords. He was murdered by either a religious extremist or a Jewish patriot, nobody knows for sure. What every realist knows is the two-state solution is dead and long-gone. It is horked up from time to time by spineless countries like Canada, who now feign concern for Israel’s genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing of the West Bank. For decades, every time Israel announced another new settlement on Palestinian land, the official word out of Ottawa was; “that’s not helpful for a two-state solution.” True that! It wasn’t helpful when the first settlements of a few dozen were announced. It’s not helpful now when thousands of new settler homes are announced. The Western “friends of the Palestinian people” have been denouncing illegal settlements for over 50 years. Now that there’s 750,000 Jewish settlers squatting on Palestinian lands they’re gonna crack down?… Not! Ironically enough, on the same day Carney announces our phony “recognition of Palestine,” the revelation comes out that, contrary to the reassurances of of both PM Boy Carnage, and PM Fluffy before him, we've been shipping lethal ordnance to Israel throughout the ongoing genocide. Yup, the fuckers have been lying to us. If you expected better, the joke’s on you! Spare me the sermonizing about Netanyahu’s genocide and Trump’s complicity; our hands are dirty too.

Canada's NDP chooses Green Party strategy of self-immolation

You remember the Greens, don’t you? Well, maybe not… I for one had high hopes for the Green movement generally. I was especially enamored with the leader of the German Greens, Petra Kelly, but there were ominous signs even then that they’d end up in bed with NATO. In Canada we never had a Petra Kelly. We had Elizabeth May instead. Realizing her political career had run its course, Ms. May tried to retire seven or eight years ago. That brought one Annamie Paul to the fore. By now the Green Party was fully signed on to the woke agenda, to the point where they were way more woke than they were ‘green.’ Ms. Paul seemed to tick a few more boxes than Ms. May. For one thing, she was Black. There are voters who think that’s important. Unfortunately for Ms. Paul, she made some comments deemed antisemitic by prominent Jewish donors, and that was the end of that. Annamie didn’t last long, and was replaced by the most impressive box-ticker in Canadian political history, Amita Kuttner. They were, in no particular order, the first transgender leader of a Canadian political party, first south-Asian person, and first person with a Ph.D. in astro-physics to lead a national party. With Woke bonafides like that you won’t be surprised the party got wiped out in the next election. What does surprise me is the NDP’s just-released 23 page guidance for their upcoming leadership contest. Right away I’m out of the running. I might be able to manage the non-refundable “vetting fee” of $1,500, but that $100k “application fee” is far beyond the means of this retired former member of United Steelworkers, the UAW, the CAW after Bob White delivered our independence, the International Woodworkers of America, and the Ontario Secondary School Teacher’s Federation, and I think I missed some… clearly, democracy is out of reach for the working man. Nevermind working men; the party rulers (ie big donors) are even discriminating against the cissy men. Check out paragraph 6 (clause 2) on page 8, wherein the ruling elite of the workers party decree; “at least fifty percent of the signatures must come from men who are not cissy men.” Holy shit! Even if I could snag some big donors, how could I ever find so many non-cissy men in the NDP? The only name I recognize among those who have declared their intention to contest this election is Yves Engler. He’s probably right that he’s got the most progressive take on NATO and the current wars to preserve the American Empire. He’s also the candidate who makes potential big donors most uncomfortable, if you know what I mean. Gaza genocide? BLOOD LIBEL!

Stop me if you’ve heard this one… Looks to me like Donny J just gave the middle finger to about 77 million Americans. In other words, he just flushed his political future down the pooper, at least in America. I figure he has a good shot at electoral success in Israel though. Not that that’s much of a prize. The American Empire is in decline, but will continue to wobble along for decades, whereas Israel will empty out pretty quick once Ben Gurion opens up again. The only people who “want” to live in the Holy Land these days are the wild-eyed “hilltop youth,” and it’s hard to see a future with that crowd in the driver’s seat. There’s a whole lotta ooga-booga around these alleged Epstein files. But leave it to Trump to point out the blatantly obvious… Who is Epstein anyways? He’s a nobody who never existed, a hoax from top to bottom, stem to stern… or is that port to stern?… nevermind. One thing all good-thinking Murcans can agree on THERE NEVER WAS NO EPSTEIN LIST!!! The whole idea that Epstein was offering up young pussy to the geriatric elite of Western Civilization, in full view of multiple cameras, therewith to blackmail them in perpetuity, is the hoaxiest hoax of all time! So, obviously, no way could Epstein have been a Mossad operative… Then again, ain’t it funny how fast Donny J changed his tune on Jeffrey when Bibi paid him a visit? Hmm…

Globe & Mail can't stop beating war drums

Check out the lead paragraph of this Globe & Mail story; On a Tuesday morning in late June, a crowd of investors, government officials, entrepreneurs and bankers huddle in a small conference room on the 53rd floor of the TD Bank Tower in downtown Toronto to mull over the possibility of imminent conflict. I personally do not find this reassuring. I’ve followed and often written about the evolving propaganda war against our authoritarian adversaries. I watched as they went from competitors, even allies from time to time, to adversaries, to enemies. And after watching this “clash of civilizations,” engineered in Washington DC and some key vassals, being presented in virtually all Western legacy media as inevitable, I am appalled that the Globe takes its role as sheer boosterism for the war-mongers. You’d think in a conference on the cusp of “imminent conflict,” ie war, you might want to invite some peace activists, maybe some military historians; perhaps a philosopher or two. War with our designated enemies, mainly Russia, China, and Iran, is not inevitable at all. In fact, following “our allies,” (which mostly means Uncle Sam, aka Donald Trump) into such a war strikes me as a recipe for catastrophe. The fantasy scenario spun in that Globe story obscures what’s at stake here, but not entirely. Here’s a quote from one of the sharpies in attendance, who hopes to make a killing; “We’ve got ourselves into such a deficit with the state, size and role of our military, that the question has become an either/or: Do you want social programming and dental care and health care, and $10-a-day daycare, or do you want a military?” That’s a no-brainer for every Canadian with half a brain. No, we do not want war. The thought-leaders at the Globe should stop shaming themselves by ceaselessly promoting it.

I see where NATO is pondering what to sanction next in Putin's evil empire. They're up to 21,692 sanctions already! I didn’t make that number up; it’s direct from the somewhat pro-Palestine Al Jazeera English which is way more anti-Putin than it is anti-Israel or anti-USA. It is, however, a most impressive number! I can imagine the hardcore Exceptionalists calling a meeting. “Well team, we’re at 21,691 sanctions, and Putin isn’t budging… any thoughts on what we can unleash for number 21,692?” They’ll hash this out just long enough that the obligatory catered lunch shows up, and then they’ll make a grandiose announcement that they’ve imposed deadly sanctions on some Belorussian oligarch you’ve never heard of, probably because he doesn’t exist and they just invented him, but he’s a secret Putin confidant who guides Bad Vlad’s every evil step, dontcha know! But by cracky, they gotta pretend they’re doing something! And once you’ve declared 21,691 sanctions, many of which Dementia Joe assured us were so hellish they would cripple the Russian economy in no time flat, and the economy we’ve been crippling with sanctions from hell since 2022 is wildly out-performing our own, well… by my estimation, the Empire is well and truly up a stump here. The more I see of the NATO/USA Amateur Hour and Singalong Jamboree, the more I’m betting on the serious people. Those would be the ones who did NOT dumb down their math curricula to spare the feelings of lazy students. There’s a shitload of math in a hypersonic missile!

You know who I’m talking about. Back in the day there were rumors about a top-shelf medical clinic in Switzerland, where the world’s A-listers got their pharmaceutical heroin. It’s where Keef Richards went for a whole-body transfusion every six months for fifty years. What wasn’t well known at the time was the same clinic also offered nose-reduction surgery. It was colloquially known as the “Pinocchio Clinic.” Those Swiss geniuses branched into nose reductions back in the Nixon era. Insiders have revealed the PC is by far the most profitable venture they’ve ever had. It is highly popular amongst politicians of the EU and NATO countries. Ursula Von der Lugen has allegedly had her ever-lying snoz cut back an astonishing 35 times! But that’s nothing. According to those unnamed insiders, Trump holds the record at 214, but that’s not a secure lead. His “good friend” Bibi is breathing down his neck at 213! At this very moment in history, two of the greatest con-men of all time are going head to head, mano a mano, trying to out-bullshit one another. There’s a lot at stake. The lives of whoever is left of the two million Palestinians who once called Gaza home, for one thing. The survival of Israel as a supposed “liberal democracy” for another. It pains me to say it, but were I a betting man, I’d wager on Bibi. It’s not that he’s a better liar per se; he’s just got way more experience in the truly momentous whoppers that justify his ongoing genocide. Trump has been known to call off strikes on terror targets because somebody might get hurt. What good are lying skills if you whimp out when it matters? The Greatest Leader since Moses, on the other hand, has no qualms about raining US bombs on unarmed civilians cowering in tents. It’s a tough world. The future belongs to those who can take tough decisions and never look back. But don’t count Trump out. I mean, anybody who follows these matters knows the whole “we obliterated Iran’s nuclear program” shtick was… bullshit, and nobody knows it better than Bibi. Unfortunately, he also knows that Iran made an absolute mockery of Israel-USA air defences in the Twelve Day War. Another twelve days and Israel would be over. Not only that, but Trump is beginning to realize his support of Israel is starting to bleed away his base. Even the hard-core Israel-firsters come to a point where they can no longer deny that Israel’s genocide is exactly that. Not even the so-called Christian Zionists want to wear that badge.
