Fifty years ago, when Trudeau the Elder invoked the War Measures Act against actual terrorists, our free press gave him a very rough ride indeed. When Trudeau the Lesser aims the same cannon at Canadians who are in violation of parking bylaws, his biggest cheer-leaders are mainstream media!
