Greta's been kinda quiet for the past year and a half or so. I guess when you're obsessed with a virus that could kill you tomorrow, you lose interest in the climate crisis that's gonna kill you in twenty or thirty years.
As a result, the climate crisis and Greta have been on the back burner, so to speak. The bad news is, that's about to change.
Greta piped up today on the occasion of the UN climate change panel releasing its latest report, which, sure enough, informs us that we're doomed.
Nothing new, then!
As an aside, I read a story on the weekend about how electricity-intensive the manufacture of solar panels is. China, by far the largest manufacturer of solar panels in the world, has to build new coal-fired power plants just to keep up!
