Disgraced "human rights activist" Bill Browder is apparently more than a Russia Expert; he's a China Expert as well!
In fact, Browder's expert expertise is so in demand that he found himself before the House of Commons subcommittee on human rights yesterday, encouraging our parliamentarians to stand with our allies (ie join in Trump's new cold war on China) by enacting Magnitsky sanctions on senior Chinese officials.
Trump, as you know, has been very busy blaming China for his failings vis-a-vis the covid pandemic. He's got an election coming up, after all. What better time to play the Yellow Peril card? The US administration is prepared to warmonger the world to the very edge of open conflict to save itself. Browder is doing his part to promote anti-Russia and anti-China hysteria to further the cause.
What should trouble Canadians is that our national newspaper of record and our parliamentarians still offer deferential treatment to Bill Browder, even after he has been exposed as a fraud and a liar.
