Although Canada recently got a slap in the yap when that UNSC vote went down, we've still got a robust presence on the world stage!
You bet! We're still out there doing our part to deter Putin's aggression.
Or at least we were.
Until Putin threw a Covid hex on a plane-load of Canadian military trainers on their way to teach our NATO allies over there in Latvia (how many Canadians can find that on a map?) the ins and outs of resisting Putin's aggression.
From the perspective of the Putin-fearing Latvians, this would have to totally rubbish Canada's reputation as an "ally."
What, the Canadians are all aboard for human rights and democracy, but if there happens to be a virus going round, they'll call in sick?
What kind of ally is that?
Putin must be laughing his ass off.
