Tiffany Gooch is introduced by the Toronto Star as a "Liberal" strategist every Sunday. The capital "L" means she does her strategizing for a certain political party. With a small "L" anybody can be a "liberal strategist." For example, when I strategize about how much beer to buy for the weekend, I tend to err on the liberal side. In other words, I'm a liberal strategist!

But that's not the kinda liberal strategist we're talking about. Her column today was about what Black Lives Matter can learn from #MeToo. She desperately wants the reader to know that this Liberal strategist for the Liberal Party is fully woke and with it, and therefore all you wokesters will find a warm welcome in that party. There's a lot of woke-speak in those 400 words.
The all-time master of woke-speak is of course the leader of that party, Prime Minister "I'm so woke it hurts" Trudeau. PM Fluffy sprays around the woke-speak at such stupendous volumes that you need to towel down after listening to him for five minutes, and that's just on TV!
And what does all that wokeness get us? Last time I checked, it's getting us a couple of new pipelines being forced through unceded Indigenous territory in BC.
Sure hope that wasn't one of your strategies, Tiffany.
