Listen up, fat-ass greed-bags. Ima give y'all a chance to fix things up before the pitchfork wielding mobs show up in your gated communities. As you well know, when it comes to that, and unless you change your ways it's inevitable, those mobs will be wielding way more than pitchforks.
1. Drop that "global cop" shit you been doing since the WW2. Forget about it. It's made the USA the most hated and the most feared nation on the planet.
2. Close ALL foreign bases. Bring the troops home from Germany, Japan, South Korea. Defense means defending your country from foreign aggression, and if you'd mind your business there wouldn't be any. How did it become America's responsibility to police the planet?
3. Stop screwing with other people's shit. Let the Cubans decide how to run Cuba. Ditto Nicaragua, Venezuela, Iran, etc etc...
4. Cut your "defense" budget by 90%. That should leave a hundred billion or so for actual defense, which would be more than enough. Who the hell would want to invade this mess anyway?
5. Use the savings to invest in the American people. You know, shit like education, health care, and housing. Look around you. What you've been doing IS NOT WORKING!!!
6. Get serious about income inequality. When the top marginal tax rate was 90% back in the fifties, the rich still got richer, but the poor had a chance.
7. Make corporate tax dodges a capital offence. "American" companies have trillions of untaxed dollars sloshing around in offshore tax havens. By doing so they are screwing the working people who are left to pay the bills. Enough already! Pass a law, and then string up the first three CEOs who thumb their noses at it. The rest will fall in line right smartly.
8. Bring in a 150% tax on unproductive economic activity like share buy-backs. There was a time when share buy-backs were illegal in America. Who has benefited and who has lost out since they were allowed? The corner-office greedbags have won huge, and everyone else is poorer for it.
9. End for-profit health care now. America leads the world in per-capita health care costs and isn't even close to being on the lead lap in results. It's an outrage!
10. Disarm the cops. Leave the guns at HQ for the SWAT squad to use in emergencies. Make a BSW degree the minimum requirement for any police job. When half the population perceive the police to be their enemy, you should know the status quo ain't working.
There you go, fat-ass greed-bags who have been running America into the ground. America could be great for more than the one percenters and their groupies. The status quo is not working. You can listen now, or you can wait for the armed mobs to come through your gates.
