Brian Burke went half-way to doing the right thing yesterday. He fired coach Ron Wilson.
He should have gone the rest of the way and fired himself.
After all, I don't think it was Wilson's idea to build a team around Phil Kessel and Dion Phaneuf.
But that's the way things go. So one Burke yes-man is out, and another one comes in.
At least Burke will know who to fire when the Leafs don't make the play-offs the next four years in a row.
