Who's got Epstein's blackmail videos?
Tuesday, February 2, 2021
Fifty years ago, no self-respecting person on the left would have dreamed of aligning themselves with the FBI or CIA
Things have changed in fifty years.
The FBI and the CIA have been rehabilitated. Comey and Brennan are heroes of the resistance. And, unlike fifty years ago, anything you read in the New York Times is Guaranteed Gospel Truth! Back in the day, your first reaction to mainstream media claims was always skepticism.
Now, NYT/WaPo/CNN/PBS are the go-to platforms for truth-seeking lefties.
That's not all that's changed. Fifty years ago, the Black Resistance to 350 years of oppression gave rise to inspirational leaders like Malcolm X, Stokely Carmichael, and MLK. Today, Black Resistance to 400 years of oppression is centralized in the corporate-sponsored BLM astro-turf movement.
Fifty years ago, most people still viewed the Democrats as the party of unionized labour. Now it's the party of union-busting hedge-fund billionaires.
Fifty years ago, Republicans were the war party and Democrats were at least more likely to talk peace, if not actually cease and desist from dropping our Paveway instruments of democracy on recalcitrant third world peasants. Today the Democrats are as keen on perpetual war as the old war party ever was.
Sadly, what we have witnessed over the last fifty years, is the wholesale betrayal of the interests of everyday working people, of all ethnicities and creeds, by both parties.
Sooner or later, blowback is coming...

Proud Boys boss exposed as FBI informant
Check this out. Not only is the leader of the feared "white supremacist" militia the Proud Boys a Black man, he's also got an impressive track record as a police informant!
Most US news platforms have at least dropped the white supremacist nonsense since Tarrio was arrested in Washington on Jan 4. Now they stick with some iteration of "domestic far-right terrorist extemists" when hyperventilating about the group, as even your typical 'merican tard finds it a little much to believe that a bunch of supposed white supremacists would allow themselves to be led by a Black man.
The CBC has no such reservations. If Bill Blair and Jagmeet Singh call them white supremacists, well, alrighty then! Besides, the entire House of Commons voted unanimously to label them a terrorist group, so they are obviously a serious threat to Canada's democratic values...
The real threat to our values will come further down the road. If we follow the US lead and call anti-government groups domestic terrorists, we'll soon be employing the same tactics of surveillance, deceit, and entrapment that we used against so-called Muslim terrorists. That's what's a threat to a free society, not a bunch of yahoos walking around in camo.

Stretching credulity...
What's up with the media-infotainment complex's whitewashing of the old guard war criminals? The reframing of the Bush dynasty goes hand in hand with the reframing of the CIA and the FBI. Any remotely progressive person has always known that those entities are to human rights what Holy Water is to the devil's excrement. (I'm not talking about oil, although it wouldn't be hard to work it into the narrative.)
Hollywood is coming dangerously close to showing its hand. Even that staple of the progressive's viewing diet, SNL, is having fun and chasing ratings by mocking "medicare for all." You know, that public health care regime which promises care for all who need it, regardless of their financial situation. It's practically universal in the so-called developed world (and even quite a bit beyond), but for some reason, the richest country on the planet can't afford it.
"Some reason" consists mainly of the richest, most lavishly funded lobby in lobby-infested DC. There's a lot of money to be made not providing health care to people who can't afford it. The people who enrich themselves as shareholders and executives in the health-care field would have to find honest work if America ever had public health care.
That scares the shit out of them.
The same Hollywood masterminds who create SNL aren't about to get behind any other genuinely progressive ideas either. Hollywood is owned by Wall Street and the billionaire class, just like the GOP and the DNC. That's why across the spectrum, from MSNBC to Fox News, you'll find nothing but scorn and ridicule poured on Bernie and the so-called squad.
The word "socialism" is increasingly in the news these days.
That's not news the billionaires want to hear.

Canada's democracy under siege...
So it's a slam dunk, then!
Three days ago the CBC reported that Chrystia Freeland thinks we're for sure going to be targeted by Russia. In fact, Chrystia is pretty sure there's already been some meddling!
And maybe there has, but how would you or I know? Are we to take Chrystia's word for it? Why can't she share with us the evidence of the meddling, so we at least know what to look out for?
Why is she keeping us in the dark?
Today the CBC follows up with another evidence-free presentation on the same theme, this time from the Communications Security Establishment, Why are all these people who are ostensibly protecting us not giving us more info?
Furthermore, if they know it's happening, what are they doing about it? Maybe they're doing lots, but saying so in public would just tip off Putin's trolls to the fact that we're on to them or something. So I guess there's a reason for the secrecy.
Maybe.
Or maybe this is just nonsense intended to turn the channel away from the SNC scandal, which has discredited Canada's government far more than anything the Ruskies could come up with...
...unless... OMG, it's all making sense now!!!
JWR is a Russian agent!

Trump as tool of America's "deep state"
My hunch is that Trump's enthusiasm for draining the swamp waned mightily once he realized he had become the boss 'gator in that swamp.
As things stand, he's surrounded by deep-swamp creatures like Bolton and Pompeo. That tells me that whatever "drainage" he may have once envisioned has come to naught.
Instead, he's going with the neolib flow.
Not that he has much choice.
It's interesting to see how our mainstream press, the same folks who literally created Trump as a media celebrity, turned on him once he became prez. It's not Trump who changed; it's the way he's treated by the same media that fawned all over him from the early '80s till 2016.
Also interesting is how that same media is currently renovating the reputations of some of those names in the news that they used to uniformly deplore.
Pre-Trump, national security institutions like the FBI and CIA were widely considered not to be trusted. This scarcely requires elaboration. Yet since Trump found himself in the Oval Office, those institutions have been recast as honourable truth-tellers.
What's also being recast is the toxic legacy of the Bush family. CNN has an ongoing Bush rehabilitation series that works overtime to show the war criminals in a favourable light. Here's today's effort.
From where I'm watching, it looks like the apostles of American Exceptionalism are singing out of the same hymnal, whether their name is Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Obama, or Trump.
The names may change, but the song remains the same.

The wily Erdogan meets his match
First Donny J fires FBI boss Comey to kill that investigation into his collusion with the Ruskies, and then he turns around and shares national secrets with those very same Ruskies!
Holy moly... this man must be stopped, at least if you take your cues from the NYT and the Washington Post!
Those commies... er, I mean Russians, obviously have Trump by the short and curlies.
Trump must be tempted to take a few tips from Erdogan on how to deal with pesky media. In America the Trumpists chant lock 'em up. It's a feel-good thing, much along the lines of chanting "go Leafs go!" In Turkey they're just locked up indefinitely, thereby proving that America still has something called a "free press."
Erdogan dodged a few bullets last summer, quite literally, when his former pal turned arch nemesis Fethulla Gulen launched a surprise attack on this government. Gulen has been cooling his heels a couple of hours north of CIA HQ for what, twenty years now? Does anybody really believe that this leader of a global socio-religious educational organization with millions of followers worldwide could enjoy US hospitality for that long without the express connivance of the highest levels of America's multi-faceted spook infrastructure?
The CIA may not have invented Gulen, but they've certainly nurtured him over the years. Had things gone to plan, the ornery and unpredictable Erdogan would have given way to the infinitely more pliable Fethullah Gulen.
The failure of the coup last summer was a bitter pill for the Deep State, a disappointment trumped only by the election of you-know-who in November.
The string-pullers must have been seething today, and the "free press" did their bit by ignoring the Erdogan-Trump shindig.
Shouldn't take more than a few days for the Times and the Post to front-page a list of state secrets Trump spilled to the Turks today.

2016 - 2020; Twilight of the American Plutocracy
Give him a couple of years and he'll be walking home from school with his eyeballs stuck to a screen, like all the big kids and the adults do these days. He'll never see another flower again.
The REALLY BIG NEWS in the news today is Trump's axing of FBI director Comey. Mostly that's big news among the Hillary oriented media who have been hyperventilating about supposed Russian interference in US democracy for the past six months.
They're uber-hyperventilating today, if such a thing can be imagined. After all, wasn't Comey investigating those shady links between Russia and team Trump? This is the proof! This is a cover-up!
This is bullshit. It's Trump getting rid of a mediocre guy at the top of the FBI while at the same time throwing a bone to his old pal Hillary. After all, until today Comey was one of the top suspects in throwing the election to Trump, according to Hillary and her acolytes in the media.
Speaking of elections, I see where South Korea just elected a new leader who, at least on the face of things, sees his first responsibility as serving the interests of the Korean people instead of the interests of Washington. That THAAD installation America just pushed into South Korea? The new guy quite properly sees it as a provocation not only of North Korea but of China as well.
To them it's a hostile American military installation protected by 50 million South Korean human shields.
We'll see how long this THAAD thing lasts... elections can be such a pain in the ass when you're trying to rule the world.
Which brings me to the next US presidential election coming up not nearly soon enough. In 2016 the two most popular candidates were Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. In spite of their differences they had one thing in common; they both ran on a promise to dismantle the status quo, ie the rule of the plutocrats. This is what made them popular.
The fact that both men subsequently betrayed their core supporters is beyond obvious by now, and is not a point I need to expand on here. The more important point is that these disaffected, disillusioned, and largely disenfranchised voters are still there, and will be when the 2020 race gets serious.
They will remember who sold them out.
They'll be ripe for a third party candidate who campaigns on meaningful reform. Universal health care. A massive shrinkage of the military budget. Housing and education for the people. Getting big money donors out of politics. Ending the myriad tax dodges that allow billionaires to make politics their playpen. Bringing in a tax code that taxes the rich more than the middle...
It's a long list.
It has to be a third party. No movement that involves the Democratic Party has the cred to turn America around. No astro-turf fake-left outfit funded by Soros can be allowed to play a leadership role.
America is ripe for the return of democracy.
Unless everybody is so glued to their little screens they don't even notice their country is well on its way down the toilet.

Election Santa delivers a timely gift for Big Steve Harper
It took years and untold millions of dollars, but get to the bottom they did. Today a court in Toronto convicted the pair, one a drug abuser, the other a schizophrenic, of multiple terror related charges.
SEE!!!
Stephen Harper has been right all along!
We are fighting a war against terror right here on the home front! In mere weeks, every Canadian will have a chance to vote...
Who will YOU vote for?
Pot-addled pussy Justin Trudeau?
Flip-flop artiste extraordinaire Angry Tom?
Or the steady-as-she-goes, tough-on-crime, Jesus loving, Towel-head hatin' (unless they're a few docile brown-nosers available for a photo-op) EXPERIENCED AND SUCCESSFUL PRIME MINISTER STEPHEN HARPER?
Take your pick...
And please try to forget that the Tunisian and the Palestinian who walked into that bar all those years ago would never have come up with any "terror plan" whatsoever without the constant coaxing and cajoling and guidance of the myriad anti-terror agencies across North America who invested tens of thousands of man-hours and multiple millions of dollars into making this story happen.

FBI goes hard-core
But that is so last century! Meet the FBI in 2015...

That's what we call progress in law enforcement!

Bill C-51 will just drag Canada deeper into the world of state-sponsored terror
The previous day saw a story in the Toronto Star detailing the collusion between CSIS and the FBI in their attempted set up of the so-called VIA Rail bombers, especially the third member of this "terror team," one Ahmed Abassi. Most of that story was made public by the Washington Post last summer. What should give Canadians pause is how closely not only CSIS, but virtually any federal government department, is willing to bend to the interests of Washington.
The FBI informant obviously had an unlimited budget available with which to entrap Abassi into a terror plot, and was allowed to freely operate in Canada by Canadian authorities across the security, immigration, and policing spectrum.
All of this happened without the benefit of Bill C-51, which will enhance the power of our security state.
To keep us safer, of course...
In reply to critics, the Harper gang points to the robust civilian oversight of out security apparatus.
Ya, right!
Here's the guy personally appointed by Big Steve to head up civilian oversight of CSIS from 2008 to 2011.

Arthur Porter; fraudster, quack, con-man, now cooling his heels in a Panamanian prison awaiting extradition to Canada.
That's what "robust civilian oversight" looks like to Stephen Harper.
Reassuring, eh?
The way I read it, under C-51, the next time this blog points out that Hamas is the democratically elected government of Gaza and Israel is morally obliged to negotiate with them, I could be found guilty of promoting terrorism. Hamas is on Ottawa's official list of terrorist entities, democracy be damned!
That's scary!

Breakfast at Wiarton International Airport
The Farm Manager talked me into stopping there for breakfast this morning. The eggs (easy over) were excellent.
The home fries were divine. 11/10 on the home fries, folks.
The toast was brown Wonderbread and boring.
The sausages were OK but boring too.
Not that there's anything wrong with "boring" for breakfast.
I'm there for breakfast, not for excitement.
The Wiarton International Airport is in a death spiral of sorts. The feds have been trying to fob it off on the local community, which isn't sure what to do with it.
If I were them, I'd put together a trade mission to Cartagena to see if some Colombian investors might be interested in buying a small-town international airport in Canada.
That little restaurant could be a gold mine!
While we were there a little airplane with the call letters FBZI taxied up and two old dudes came up for breakfast. That "Z" isn't going to fool anybody. The FBI is obviously on the lookout for those Colombian investors already...

Canada compromises FBI terror investigation so Harper gang can make the evening news
As you will recall, that is the sensational case that not only claims to have uncovered the first al-Qaeda plot in North America since 9/11, it also ties Iran to al-Qaeda!
That's big news indeed!
I'm certainly not the only observer who found the timing of Monday's arrests cuter than cute. The Vancouver Sun, leaning heavily on an article in The Wall Street Journal, is making essentially the same claim today that was made here a few days ago.
But the Sun ups the ante exponentially. The Harperites weren't just manipulating Canadian police with the timing of these arrests and the ensuing press conference. They were effectively scuttling an FBI investigation into the US contacts of the two guys they arrested, even after the FBI asked them to hold off.
I guess that's one way for Harper to prove he's more than a US bumboy.

Morality here and there
They're over there as emissaries for a culture that is superior in every way.
That's why we insist on training their fighting forces even though they just whupped us in a war.
So the emissaries for the culture that is superior in every way get together with some towel-headed war-lord, and what do they find?
They find that Mr. Warlord has seven wives and a stable of dancing boys.
They're stuck with their high-school sweet-heart they married when they were nineteen.
Cultural superiority has a price.
And at some level, once our Generals see how the other half lives, that price begins to foment resentment.
Before you know it they're banging the secretary and the under-secretary and the other secretary under the desk. And of course the biographer.
They can't quite get their heads around the dancing boys, but you can bet they're working on it.
Then their career gets caught in the middle of a turf battle between the FBI and the CIA, and it's all over.
Meanwhile, Mr. Warlord who we vanquished years ago is up to nine wives, and he's just added a couple of fresh twelve year olds to his dancing-boy harem.
It sucks to be the winner.
