Kenya's cops go where RCMP fear to tread
Canada has had an RCMP-led police training mission in Haiti since 1993. The longer we train them, the worse things get! And we were surprised these jokers couldn’t figure out how to clear the Freedom Convoy out of Ottawa?
But they’re breathing a sigh of relief in Haiti today. Two years after the Haitian government asked for international help to combat rampant gang violence, the first plane-load of Kenyan police arrived in the country. Kenya is leading the Multinational Security Support Mission to restore law and order, good governance, and possibly even democracy, to the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
The glory of leading this mission could have been ours. When Geriatric Joe visited Ottawa in 2023, Haiti was on the agenda. There was much speculation we would jump at the opportunity, as we’re generally keen to curry favour with Washington, but surprisingly, PM Fluffy turned it down. I for one applauded that decision.
After failing for over thirty years to whip the Haitian police into shape, we’re willing to admit we’re not up to the job. In order to make amends, Justin did however announce a $100 million investment in the Haitian National Police at the time. Now that the Kenyans have arrived, I’m sure we’ll soon see good results for our money!
On the same day, back in Nairobi, mobs of disgruntled ingrates with no respect for democracy, a veritable Kenyan Freedom Convoy, stormed the parliament and tried to burn it down. Kenyan police shot 23 of them dead.
They would have got those truckers outta Ottawa pronto!

Tards 'o terror back in the news
John Nuttall and Amanda Korody were arrested in 2013 on terror charges as sensational as they were dubious. The RCMP invested many millions in trying to secure terror convictions against these two alleged jihadists. The entire episode smelled so fake that eventually even the jury at their trial concluded that our hapless terrorists were nothing more than victims of an RCMP witch hunt.
Nine years later, an enterprising CBC journo has resurrected their story. Seems they now have a legal team and are suing for millions. I hope they win.
Here’s one of the posts I wrote on the topic during their trial in 2015.
TARDS 'o TERROR
Seldom have as inept a pair of would-be terrorists been paraded before the public as the reason we should all be afraid... very afraid!
Afraid to the point where we'll gladly give up what little privacy we have left so that Big Steve's Bill C-51 can keep us safe from harm.

This is for two people who, without the coaching of their RCMP minders, would never have come up with anything more grandiose than knocking over the local 7-11 for drug money.
It's not about them, of course. Marginalized misfits will always be vulnerable to the machinations of a ruthless state bent on creating "enemies" to further their agenda.
Framing up threats to freedom has been a time-honored mainstay in the arsenal of totalitarian states since at least the era of Hitler and Stalin.

Even as Canadians bask in their moral superiority, another Native woman is shot dead by RCMP
Golly, how could such a thing happen in Canada?
We are, after all, at least in our own minds, even more exceptional than the Exceptional Nation next door. Just listen to PM Fluffy for a few minutes.
Whereas those racist US cops shoot first and maybe, if forced to, ask questions later, our cops are kind and gentle as they shoot first and ask questions later.
Here's a suggestion I'd like the cops to take into consideration as they review their protocols in the wake of unnecessary deaths on both sides of the border. If a person in distress runs at an officer with a knife, have the officer run away. Maybe have a social worker go and talk to them instead.

Canada unleashes new acronym in war on Russia and China
Scooch over, CSIS, CES, DND, and RCMP; there's a new sheriff in town.
Meet NSICOP.
I read up on this stuff with some frequency. Some would call it an "obsession." I'd never even heard of NSICOP until today.
But today they emerged from the shadows with this bombshell about how Russia and China are totally sort of maybe possibly messing with our democracy!
Yup, that's some serious shit alright! Thank God we've got NSICOP looking out for us!
In case you don't know, that stands for "National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians."
To be honest, I'm a little surprised that these folks have blown their cover by coming out on the CBC. I'm pretty sure there's gotta be a few Russia/China operatives reading our national propaganda outfit...
You don't imagine they could have done this on purpose, do you? Maybe they've been infiltrated by Russia/China?

Justin Trudeau's bulletproof PR stunt
We've been warned for months that unspecified entities are looking to disrupt our democracy.
Could be Putinist trolls sowing doubt about the democratic process...
Could be Putinist trolls riling up your deplorables to commit whatever deplorable things those people have up their sleeves.
Could be Putinist trolls turning French against English, Indians against settlers, vegans against carnivores, gay against straight. When diversity is your strength, you unfortunately give the enemy (Putin and his massed troll armies) many more loose threads with which to pull apart the very fabric of our democracy!
So after being repeatedly warned by many experts across all media, no one can feign surprise that it's finally happened; Trudeau now campaigning in bulletproof vest.
That's right! Not only that, but "uniformed tactical officers wearing heavy backpacks surrounded Trudeau as he addressed the crowd."
Oh my! Right here in Canada!

Wait a minute... do those guys with the heavy backpacks look like an RCMP tactical squad? Or do they look like a central casting version of same? What do you suppose could be in those heavy backpacks? Their heavy weapons?
When the bullets start to fly, they're gonna take off their backpacks, fish out and assemble their weapons, and return fire?
Does Justin look worried?
I smell PR stunt!

Forget about those towelheads 'o terror; YOU MUST FEAR THE BIKERS!!!
Laura Stone has a front pager in my Globe today about retiring RCMP Commish Bob Paulson.
Paulson has been Canada's top cop for the past five years, heading up the 30,000 strong Mountie outfit.
After we're told that "organized crime" is a bigger threat to Canada than the various strands of Islamic militants, he gets around to naming names; "he said the national police force has noticed a resurgence in outlaw motorcycle gangs , such as the Hells Angels, across Canada."
Really? Do you think that might be due to the fact that the only actual "Islamic terror attacks" in Canada have been carried out by a couple of Frenchie nutters? And that most of the anti-terror operations that the RCMP have squandered hundreds of millions of dollars on have been around whack jobs like the infamous "tards 'o terror," Nuttall and Korody?
It's not just the bikers we must fear... you know, those dastardly demon-seeds who are so secretive their clubhouses are on Google Street-View. Nope, it's our Italian neighbours too!
Oh, give it a rest, Bob!
You guys have been waving the bikers and the mafia at us forever to sow fear and raise your budgets! If the pols did the sensible thing and treated addiction as a health problem instead of a law enforcement problem, 99% of "organized crime" would be out of business overnight.
Other than that, Paulson seems to be a reasonable enough guy. He speaks against the militarization of police forces and for community policing, initiatives that the think tank here at Falling Downs has long been in favour of. Good on you, Mr. Paulson!
But I wouldn't be too hasty in writing off the towellers. Just in the past few days we've seen all manner of chest-thumping in our national media about how great one of our snipers was for setting a new world record for a long-distance kill. Of a Muslim, of course.
There's got to be a Muslim refugee somewhere who takes umbrage with all that gloating...

'tards 'o terror walk after court rules entrapment
Good!
It was always abundantly obvious that the opportunistic set-up of John Nuttall and Amanda Korody in a so-called terror plot was nothing more than a police state fabrication designed to get scary headlines. Scary headlines are of course exactly what the Harper gang ordered up. If the public can be convinced that there are indeed terrorists lurking among us, we'll be that much more amenable to giving up more rights and freedoms.
Nuttall and Korody were two of the most unlikely terrorists you could imagine. Intellectually challenged drug addicts with a passing and superficial interest in Islam, they were over a period of months "radicalized" by a team of up to 240 undercover agents. Wow!
Had even a tiny fraction of the resources invested in entrapping the pair been made available for their improvement, the RCMP might have found the time to do some useful stuff - maybe track down some of those missing and murdered indigenous women or their killers or something... but that wouldn't have gotten the Harperites their headlines.
According to evidence heard in court, our aspiring jihadis lived lives of utter despair. They couldn't keep a job or an apartment, and often couldn't even feed themselves. These are the kind of people our police state hones in on and spends millions to frame up as terrorists?
Shame!

Texting ticket at Tim's drive-thru
Canada was rocked by the news this week that one AJ Doust scored a $287 fine for texting in the Timmies drive-thru in Beaumont Alberta.
Yup, texting in the drive-thru.
That's why we pay those Mounties $100,000 per year; so they can bust the scallywags texting in the Timmies drive-thru. Because there is absolutely nothing better for the RCMP to do in Beaumont Alberta.
Timmie Nation was properly perplexed, but thank God Larry Fedoruk came along to do the 'splainin for the RCMP. Larry wants us to know that the perp was "steering with his knees while texting with both hands" in that drive-thru...
Frankly, anybody working that hard to ingratiate themselves with the RCMP probably has something to hide.
And how hard is it to inch your car ahead a few feet every thirty seconds? Do you even need your knees?
Anyway, according to our man Fedoruk, other folks in that "drive-thru" were aghast that someone might be texting, and waved their arms in the air to alert our intrepid Mountie to the audacious law-breaker in their midst...
Sounds like bullshit to me.

If you have seen these men, please call the RCMP... NOW!

Yup, coupla brownish dudes were spotted by a vigilant citizen in the vicinity of Roger's Centre last summer. Said citizen, operating on the "see something, say something" plan, duly reported that they had seen something.
The Mounties have had a crack anti-terror squad on the case ever since.
Alas, they've not made any headway, which is why they're appealing to the public months after the fact.
I've had occasion to visit that part of town from time to time, and frankly, if you're gonna call the terror hot-line every time you see a couple of brownish dudes... well, that's gotta be one busy hot-line.
For my money, I'm thinking that's a couple of Jays making their way to the game they played that afternoon. Looks like Stroman and Encarnation if you ask me. Hard to tell when they're outta uniform.
Probably subbed down from their Bridle Path mansions and are just walking in from Union Station.

Election Santa delivers a timely gift for Big Steve Harper
So a Tunisian and a Palestinian walk into a bar, and before you can say "booga booga" the RCMP, CSIS, the FBI, Canadian Border Services, the OPP, the SQ, Department of Homeland Security, TSA, and regional police services from Peel, Durham, and York as well as Montreal and Toronto Police are convening strategy sessions to get to the bottom of this outrage.
It took years and untold millions of dollars, but get to the bottom they did. Today a court in Toronto convicted the pair, one a drug abuser, the other a schizophrenic, of multiple terror related charges.
SEE!!!
Stephen Harper has been right all along!
We are fighting a war against terror right here on the home front! In mere weeks, every Canadian will have a chance to vote...
Who will YOU vote for?
Pot-addled pussy Justin Trudeau?
Flip-flop artiste extraordinaire Angry Tom?
Or the steady-as-she-goes, tough-on-crime, Jesus loving, Towel-head hatin' (unless they're a few docile brown-nosers available for a photo-op) EXPERIENCED AND SUCCESSFUL PRIME MINISTER STEPHEN HARPER?
Take your pick...
And please try to forget that the Tunisian and the Palestinian who walked into that bar all those years ago would never have come up with any "terror plan" whatsoever without the constant coaxing and cajoling and guidance of the myriad anti-terror agencies across North America who invested tens of thousands of man-hours and multiple millions of dollars into making this story happen.

Harper's cynical manipulation of the Maher Arar file
That's a file open since at least 2002. In fact, CSIS obviously had a file on Mr. Arar well before that.
Mr. Arar was the Canadian dispatched to Syria for "questioning" by the US. Yup, that was back in the day when Assad was still a "good guy" and an ally of the Nations of Virtue. "Questioning" protocols have a little more elasticity in Syria than they do in the Nations of Virtue. "Question" a probable terrorist like Mr. Arar here in North America and all the bleeding heart soft-on-terror types will accuse you of torture.
So to keep our hands clean, we connived with the CIA to have Assad's thugs do the "questioning."
Mind you, that was while he was still a good guy.
There's nothing new in the Arar file, but at least thirteen years after the fact and ten years into the Harper regime, we suddenly get the news that the RCMP is charging a Syrian military officer in the torture of Maher Arar.
Could the timing of this announcement have anything to do with the fact that Harper is in the midst of a too-close-to-call election campaign?
What does the Harper gang get out of this?
A chance to silence Paul Martin, who's been a little too vocal in his support of Justin Trudeau. Martin was PM when the Arar fiasco originally unfolded.
A chance to change the focus from the faltering economy to the evil Assad.
A chance to pose yet again as the tough-on-terror, tough-on-crime strongman.
Are we expected to believe that the timing of these charges is a coincidence?
Obviously!
Otherwise, there would have to have been some pressure from the Harper gang to impact the fortuitous timing of this announcement from the RCMP, and that would be hugely inappropriate.
Maybe even illegal?!
You don't think anybody in the PMO would stoop that low, do you?

Take a deep whiff of Marco Mendicino
Smells a lot like the guy who saved us from the Toronto 18, don't it?
Ya, you remember the "Toronto 18."
Bunch of Muslim kids who were hustled into an imaginary "terrorist conspiracy" by Muslim informants who were paid millions... by Marco and his CSIS/RCMP homies.
That will forever be a stain on Canada's reputation,
So go ahead and vote for him.

It's not racism; it's the law
It's gotta be bad to be Janett Poorman.
Her daughter became a tragic statistic last December, another one of those meaningless aboriginal women on the fringes of society, stabbed to death in Vancouver.
We seem to have an awful lot of those here in Canada... must be something wrong with... not any level of government, not a systemically racist culture... but them.
No less an authority than RCMP Comish Bob Paulson opined last week that 70% of murdered native women are murdered by native men. See, it's their fault.
If those natives would just get their shit together, everything would be hunky-dory.
Given the utter ineptitude the RCMP has consistently demonstrated in solving the murders of indigenous women, one is left to wonder where he gets his stats. Besides, the RCMP is far too busy framing up various dumbshits for imaginary terror conspiracies to have much left over to investigate the all-too-real murder epidemic of aboriginal women.
So Janett Poorman applies to the Manitoba Justice Department for compensation to cover the cost of her daughter's funeral. She was a victim of crime, obviously.
No way! We can't pay you, Ms. Poorman; your daughter had a criminal record.
It's not that we're racist or anything; it's just the law.

Die-hard Islamic jihadists John Nuttall and Amanda Korody couldn't keep themselves in groceries, jobs, apartments, or crystal meth, but they kept the RCMP frame-up squad busy for months fabricating lurid headlines about home-grown terror. That campaign has been so effective that even the soft-left pundits at the Toronto Star are writing editorials pleading that the RCMP be gifted more money and more manpower to fight the scourge of home-grown evil-doers.
What a crock of shit!
The RCMP has been forced to cut back the pursuit of real criminals and real criminal conspiracies to fund these politically motivated show trials of supposed home-grown terrorists. Terrorists or drug-addled 'tards? Latest Canadian terror case goes to the jury
With friends like John Nuttall and Amanda Kordory, ISIS really doesn't need enemies.
According to this story at the Globe and Mail, the RCMP entrapment team had a hunch they were dealing with retards. Not only were the retards retarded, they were heroin addicts!
Well, full steam ahead then!
Frankly, I think everyone on that entrapment team should be ashamed of themselves.
Why feel empathy for the weakest links in society when you can, at great expense, set them up as patsies in yet another terror sting?
Because Big Steve needs terror threats to take the eyes of the electorate off the faltering economy, and also because all these self-radicalized retarded people make it plain that every patriotic Canadian should give up what's left of their rights to the odious Bill C-51 Police State legislation.

Pot-smoking Mountie dies of marijuana overdose
CBC News is reporting the death of Ron Francis, the RCMP officer who made headlines last year for demanding the right to smoke medicinal marijuana on the job.
You can see the logic; if you can take an aspirin on the job, why not be able to smoke a medicinal joint?
At the same time, you can see why the general public was a little sceptical of Ron's campaign. There are just way too many scenarios in which the "pot-addled cop" meme would just frighten the public and enrage the RCMP.
So sorry to see Francis take the easy way out. And no, he didn't die of a marijuana overdose - that's been tried many times in the history of cannabis and nobody's managed it yet.
No, I think it's fair to say that Ron Francis was hassled to death by our wretchedly back-asswards approach to drugs regulation. I agree we can't have uniformed cops out in public blazing doobies, but at the same time, he could have easily been accommodated with some sort of desk duty that wouldn't have compromised public safety and at the same time taken into consideration his legitimate medical issues.
Condolences to the family and loved ones, and RIP Cpl. Francis.

A tip for aspiring informants: RCMP pays better than FBI
If you are considering a career as a police informant, you would be well advised to head north.
It’s a fad across the Western world. Put a jihad-talking police stooge into a mosque and see if anyone takes the bait.
And it works! Surely there are bound to be some disaffected members who will be impressed. It worked for the FBI in the case of the Newburgh Four. It worked for the RCMP with the Toronto 18.
Shahed Hussain, the informant who recruited, organized and prodded the Newburgh Four along did OK for himself. Came away with $100,000 for his troubles.
But he could have done so much better. To nail the Toronto 18, the RCMP used not one but two informants, who between them pocketed a cool 4.4 million!
So if you’re a young muslim with good bull-shitting skills, a thirst for adventure, and a love of money, consider heading north and offering your services to the RCMP.
