There's been a long series of stories about how the army brass treats the folks who step up and enlist or become part of the reserves.
Darryl Watts was a regular guy who wanted to serve his country. Oh yes, maybe have a few weekend adventures like they sell it to you on the commercials.
I've followed this story, and the entire trial is just a case of turning one tragedy into another tragedy. The deaths and injuries caused by the accident that Maj. Watts is being railroaded for were not his fault, but the Canadian Forces need a scapegoat, and he's it.
Disgusting!
