Outrage as Falling Downs left off Global Thinkers list

Foreign Policy Magazine has published its 100 top "global thinkers" of 2012 list, and once again I'm not on it.

Damn!

I must say, putting the imbecile Paul Ryan at number eight would seem to strain the credibility of the selection committee. Aside from claiming to have read Atlas Shrugged, his contribution to the intellectual life of the year gone by has been what?

How does Netanyahu place ahead of Diskin and Dagan? Surely that is intended as an inside joke. Most Machiavellian political operator of the year, perhaps, but global thinker?

And how do they justify the inclusion of the foreign ministers of Turkey and Poland while leaving the intellectual titans Avigdor Lieberman and John Baird off the list?

Oh well... there's always next year!
