By now everybody knows what happened to Sammy Yatin.
Just a coupe of days later Montreal police had a stand-off with a guy who apparently had 182 legally registered firearms. The cops knew they were dealing with more than a knife.
Did they employ the Toronto method and try to solve the issue in the first 60 seconds?
No.
It took twenty hours, but when it was over they had their perp in custody and, get this, Toronto, NOBODY DIED!
Maybe Toronto needs to send their boys and girls in blue up the highway to Quebec to study how such a thing is possible.
