Free in Libya; from flat-screens to cars to houses, it's all free; just grab a gun and help yourself

The Daily Telegraph's man in Tripoli reports that Libya is witnessing the greatest orgy of looting since the Watts riots. From furniture to cars to weapons to houses, the men with guns are helping themselves.

And there are lots of men with lots of guns. The country is awash in guns. If Gaddafi didn't arm them NATO did. In many cases Gaddafi gave them guns and then NATO gave them more. It's a wet dream come true for the NRA types. And now that the big dog is down it's a free-for-all.

Nothing says "bargaining power" like an MP7 slung over your shoulder when you walk into the jewelry store. Or the electronics store. Or the Mercedes dealership. And our NATO rebels are shopping while the shopping's good.

According to the Telegraph there is no sign that the stooges NATO has installed at the top of the supposed transitional government are in any rush to end the chaos. And why would they? They have bigger fish to fry, after all.

They've got their eyes on the hundred of billions in the Libyan treasury that they're planning to loot with the connivance of their new-found pals at the World Bank.
