I don't want to suggest the PM of Israel has become a one-trick politician, but does the man have any ideas that do not involve building another fence?
In the last days before the election Netanyahu's once-invincible lead in the polls isn't looking all that great. Bennett offers the settler's everything Netanyahu offers but without the double-speak and the baggage. A center-left coalition won't be center-left anymore if it includes Likud.
It's a great time for Netanyahu to come up with bold ideas!...
A fence.
The truly great leaders of history are remembered as nation builders. Men like George Washington and David Ben-Gurion and Mao Zedong.
Then there are the bridge builders. Men like Yitzhak Rabin. Maybe Richard Nixon insofar as his China policy was concerned.
Netanyahu is destined to join Walter Ulbricht and Qin Shi Huang as one of history's great fence-builders.
