US troops trash Turkish mosque

What's the big deal? Sounds like a few good ole boys letting off a bit of steam on New Years Eve.

Seems the locals are in a bit of a flap though. The mosque is at the US/NATO air base at Incirlik, where thousands of American servicemen have been keeping the free world free since the 1950's.

It's also the home base of the Syrian Free Army. Those are the "good" Syrian rebels outfitted and trained by the Nations of Virtue. The "bad" rebels are Jabhat al-Nusra and their Al-Qaeda affiliated allies who are doing most of the actual fighting against Assad.

This incident underlines yet again the inability of the Americans to build constructive relationships within the Islamic world. How many of the "good" rebels will now be more inclined to align themselves with the so-called terrorist rebels?
