That's a lot of non-lethal assistance.
Note the discussion in the final paragraphs about these weapons already being used by Al Qaeda affiliated groups.
Is there a containment plan or is the CIA just making up strategy on the fly? Are the radical groups being groomed to infiltrate Iran once they have finished Uncle Sam's work in Syria? Will Sunni radicals from Gaza currently fighting in Syria be bringing their US supplied gear home with them?
Those are just a few of the questions somebody should have given some thought to, because it's not hard to see at least 101 ways that the blowback from this policy is going to lead to more trouble than Assad ever caused.
