Dinosaur farts caused global warming: study

Palaeontologist David Wilkinson has done the math.

200 million years ago dinosaurs were passing 520 million tons of dino farts. This according to a story in the Toronto Star  today. We’re not told if that is a per annum or what.

Seems like a lot of farts.

Wilkinson calculates the dinosaur farts contributed to making the earth 10C warmer then than it is now.

Given that the dinosaurs are gone but we’re not, what does this finding do for the theory of man-made global warming?

You can read the whole study in the Journal of Current Biology.
