Well, good for you, American taxpayer.
Since 2006 you've funneled billions of your dollars into Jose Calderon's war on drugs. It's called the Merida Initiative.
And it's working great, isn't it? Bet the addicts in your town are just utterly starved for drugs, aren't they?
Never mind the addicts; what about the middle school kids? Oh, they can still get the marijuana and the cocaine?
So what are you spending your money on?
As long as you're spending your money on Calderon's imaginary war on drugs, you're not spending it on health care or education or bringing down the deficit.
How do I know that Calderon's war on drugs is imaginary?
Ask those middle school kids.
