NATO's Libyan rebels flock to Syria to join fight against Assad

Well, that's a good news bad news kind of story.

The good news is at least it gets them out of Libya.

The bad news is that they're going to be training the Free Syrian Army. That's according to London's Daily Telegraph. We all remember the ample Al Jazeera and BBC footage of our rebels' fighting prowess. Lounge around on mattresses smoking hash while waiting for the NATO projectiles of democracy to blast a path ahead. Turn back at the first sign of resistance and call in more NATO air strikes.

The spin thus far is that the Free Syrian Army is comprised of defectors from the regular Syrian army. If this is true, it is highly unlikely that they would need "training" from a bunch of hash-addled wankers.

So what's the real story? Who knows.

But at least it's getting these clowns out of Libya.
