Now I'd never have guessed I'd ever be pro-Romney, even after those affable encounters in Grand Bend.
I mean, this is the guy who claims that corporations are people too.
That should have frosted it right there and then. Say what? Corporations are people? Get a rope and find a tree.
But no, America's working classes did NOT rise up on hearing the news that corporations are people too. In fact, he was leading the polls until that wily carpet-bagger Gingrich threw his hat into the ring. Now it's a two- horse race. The fact that the same corporate interests own both horses isn't part of this discussion. I'll deal with that in a future blog.
Gingrich? There has never in the modern era been a more clear cut example of a politician screwing the public to feather his own nest. Newt Gingrich has since 1978 been the text-book case of check-book politics running wild.
And he's the front runner for the 2012 nomination?
